Mitsubishi Prepare Fight For Avanza-Xenia

Low MPV segment in the automotive market homeland seems to be the craze. Imagine, in a span of nearly adjacent, existing 5 each automaker to show off flaunt the latest variant of low mpv become their mainstay. Call it a Chevrolet with Spin, then Mazda with VX-1, Toyota Avanza, Daihatsu Xenia with, then also there yesterday Suzuki has just launched its newest product the Ertiga Matic.

The fact that low MPV segment in Indonesia is very potential market, seems to make a lot of car manufacturers in the country do not want to miss. Having previously rumored that Honda also intends to play in that segment by using Honda Brio MPV. Recently new rumors coming from Mitsubishi. Reportedly PT Krama Yudha Three Belian Motors (KTB) as the sole agent (APM) Mitsubishi in Indonesia also intends to go jump into the heat of competition the latter indeed dominated by the Toyota.

Rizwan Alamsjah as Executive Marketing Director of PT KTB said it is preparing a new weapon to be lined up to the task of opponents Avanza-Xenia duo. Unfortunately, Rizwan still closed meeting form and information about the specifications of the Mitsubishi flagship MPV.

If true Mitsubishi Indonesia launched its assault, it is not impossible if the next time dominance Avanza-Xenia deadly duo will be in danger. Because the presence of a variety of new products from many manufacturers, consumers will be presented with more choices that ultimately potentially divisive public interest that was just glued to the Avanza-Xenia alone, slowly switch to another product.

MPV is actually not a new segment for Mitsubishi. In 1997, Mitsubishi had a horse that had enough fangs in the MPV class with engine capacity of 2000cc for petrol and diesel 2.500cc. But then for no apparent reason suddenly to supply Mitsubishi Kuda Indonesia discontinued in 2005. At that time the Mitsubishi Kuda itself imported from Taiwan and the Philippines.

Then what kind of Mitsubishi's latest MPV models of the future? Let's wait a minute surprise.
